3️⃣ Copy of residence card* and passport:
Page with photo and personal details;
Page with "D" visa** and stamp of the last entry to the territory of Bulgaria.

4️⃣ Medical insurance policy valid in the Republic of Bulgaria.
The insurance should be obtained prior to the requested date
of permit validity, and the coverage amount should be at least 30,000 euros
(a certified copy by an insurance agent).

#️⃣ If the application for a residence permit in Bulgaria is submitted only by one of the parents on behalf of the child, a notarized statement (authorization) from the second parent is required.

The statement must clearly state that the second parent agrees to the child obtaining a residence permit in Bulgaria and grants the authority to the other parent to take necessary actions related to the application submission.

5️⃣ Deed of Property Ownership (simple copy) or Lease Agreement
with a Declaration from the property owner, according to § 1, item 20,
sub-item 2 of the supplementary to the Law on foreigners (notarized copies).*

applications, but only for subsequent applications (renewals).

6️⃣ Statement of Accommodation Support from spouse/parent.*

*) Please note that a declaration of accommodation support is not required for the initial application for residency permit. However, for subsequent applications (renewals) of the permit, a declaration of accommodation support is required if the spouse/children are not listed in the notarized deed as property owners or if the property is rented.

#️⃣ - Declaration from the property owner, according to § 1, item 20,
subparagraph 2 of the Supplement to the Law on Foreigners.

7️⃣ • In case of having a personal account:

Bank statement or bank certificate from any bank in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, confirming the availability of funds for the person's living expenses for the requested period.

• In case of not having a personal account:

Declaration of financial support (affidavit of support) and bank statement of a family member with a long-term residence permit or bank certificate from any bank in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, confirming their availability of funds for the person's living expenses for the requested period. The amount should be sufficient to cover the living expenses of the account holder and each family member.

For calculation purposes, it is required to have an amount for one month of stay that is not less than the minimum wage or minimum pension if the head of the family (spouse/parent) is a pensioner, per each family member.

According to the data as of July 1, 2023, the minimum wage in Bulgaria is 780 BGN, and the minimum pension in Bulgaria is 524 BGN. The certificate must be issued no earlier than one month prior to the date of document submission.

#️⃣ - Declaration of financial support (affidavit of support).

8️⃣ A copy of the personal ID card and a copy of the passport (page with photo and personal information) of the family member with a long-term residence permit in Bulgaria.

9️⃣ Notarized copies of civil status documents (marriage, birth), which must be translated into Bulgarian with subsequent notarized translation certification (legalization).*

⏺️ Tariffs for this residency basis:

• 150 BGN: fee for an annual permit.

⏺️ Cost and processing time of the ID card*:

• 45 BGN: processing within 30 days.
• 90 BGN: processing within 10 days.
• 225 BGN: processing within 3 days.

*) Children up to six years old do not receive an ID card but obtain a stamp in their passport. The residence fee is paid, and an ID card is not required for children up to six years old.
