Page with "D" visa** and stamp of the last entry to the territory of Bulgaria.

4️⃣ Certificate of No Criminal Record with translation and legalization.
Validity period: 6 months from the date of issue.*

5️⃣ Medical insurance policy valid in the Republic of Bulgaria.
The insurance should be obtained prior to the requested date
of permit validity, and the coverage amount should be at least 30,000 euros
(a certified copy by an insurance agent).*

*) For individuals not covered by the Health Insurance Act.

6️⃣ Deed of Property Ownership (simple copy) or Lease Agreement
with a Declaration from the property owner, according to § 1, item 20,
sub-item 2 of the supplementary to the Law on foreigners (notarized copies).*

*) If the property is owned by a family member with Bulgarian citizenship, an additional
shelter declaration (statement of accommodation provision) will be required.

7️⃣ • If a personal bank account is available:

A bank statement or bank certification from any bank in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, confirming the availability of funds for the person's accommodation for the requested period.

• If a personal bank account is not available:

A financial support declaration. The immigration officer may additionally request a bank statement from a family member with Bulgarian citizenship or bank certification from any bank in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, or a certificate from the place of permanent employment, confirming the availability of funds for the person's accommodation for the requested period. The amount should be sufficient to cover the expenses of the account holder and each family member.

For calculation purposes, it is required to have an amount for one month of accommodation that is not less than the minimum wage for each family member.

According to the data as of July 1, 2023, the minimum wage in Bulgaria is 780 BGN. The certificate should be issued no earlier than one month before the date of document submission.

#️⃣ - Declaration of financial support (affidavit of support).

8️⃣ A copy of the personal ID card of the family member with Bulgarian citizenship.

9️⃣ Notarized copies of civil status documents (marriage, birth).*

*) Documents issued abroad must be translated into Bulgarian with subsequent notarization of the translation (legalization).

🔟 Declaration of the existence of family ties in accordance with Article 2, item 6 of the Law on Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria.

⏺️ Tariffs for this residency basis:

• 150 BGN: fee for an annual permit.

⏺️ Cost and processing time of the ID card*:

• 45 BGN: processing within 30 days.
• 90 BGN: processing within 10 days.
• 225 BGN: processing within 3 days.

*) Children up to six years old do not receive an ID card but obtain a stamp in their passport. The residence fee is paid, and an ID card is not required for children up to six years old.
