Family members of a foreign citizen with a long-term (prolonged) residence permit in Bulgaria.
To confirm financial provision during the stay in Bulgaria, it is required to submit a document issued by any bank located within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, certifying the existence of an open account in that bank or a similar document from a family member’s account with a residence permit, confirming the availability of funds to support themselves and their family members, along with a notarized declaration of undertaking financial responsibility for them.
When applying for family reunification:
The account must have at least 12 minimum pensions (for family members of a pensioner) or the amounts of remuneration in the Republic of Bulgaria for each family member, including the main applicant. The calculation formula is: 12 x minimum wage/pension x number of family members.
When applying for a Type D visa:
Not required.
When applying for subsequent long-term residence permits:

The bank statement should be issued no earlier than one month prior to the date of document submission.
